Contract Catering /Remote Sites – Africa
Salary Package and Benefits
a) Salary range of $3,800- 4000 per month- (tax free package) - Bonus up to $500.00 per month worked. b) 90 days on 30 days off (paid) rotation c) Accommodation, Transport and Medical Insurance Included
Responsibilities
- To project manage a residential complex on a Goldmine, providing multi-services in such a manner that customer satisfaction, high staff morale and budgeted profit margins are achieved and that a good company image is projected, thus ensuring continued growth. POB 140 seniors & 250 junior residents.
- Ensure that all work is carried out as per the contract and client specification
- Ensure contract retention by developing an outstanding & proactive relationship with the client
- Develop, manage and motivate efficiency the local team via training & initiating strong QHSE & ISO 9001 standards
- Plan organise and control operation in a professional manner ensuring prompt efficient and quality service to the clients in line with superior’s instructions
- Ensure that an updated copy of service contract/scope of work is always available at site. Frequently refer the same to ensure compliance with the service provisions and scope of work
- Maintain daily control on quality and quality of food service under his direction. Control the administration of the location, including personnel, reception, stock taking, cost of food, man day accounting, time sheets, wages sheets, sickness leaves, etc. as per the defined procedures of the company policy & legislative requirement including HR & HSE.
Applicants should:
- Have Mining Experience (non negotiable).
- Hold a Catering Diploma and have an excellent knowledge of International Cuisine
- Have a minimum of 5 Years of experience in similar role, in mining/oil and gas.
- Have experience of Remote Sites and have worked in Africa
- Have experience of training local staff
- Have the capacity to manage a multicultural workforce
- Have QHSE awareness and focus
- Have good communication, administration and computer skills.
- Be fit, active and healthy within the Age range 35 – 56 .
- Due to Visa Obligations only European/South African/Australian and American Passport Holders can be considered
