Gaborone Hotel

Phakalane Golf Estate

The four-star hotel at Phakalane Golf Estate is set to open its doors very soon. It will compete directly with Sun International's Gaborone Sun and Peermont's Mondior, which are also four-star hotels in Gaborone. With the largest hotel room sizes in Gaborone, the four-star hotel has design features allowing for an upgrade to five-star.

The multi-million 80-room hotel is an added component of Phakalane Golf Estate's long-term vision to turn the estate resort into one of Africa's top 10 places to work, live and play in.

A three-month special should be started, where the price of the most luxurious executive rooms will vary depending on whether they overlook the golf course or not.

Another four-star 160-roomed hotel under the Holiday Inn brand is also expected to open soon in Gaborone.

The Phakalane Golf Estate Hotel was initially scheduled for opening in June for the FIFA World Cup in South Africa but was delayed due to various reasons, including resistance by some homeowners in the estate.
