Qatar Airways further expands in East Africa adding with 12 flights across Nairobi and Dar es Salaam. These routes will be operated with an A320 aircraft, featuring 12 seats in Business Class and 132 in Economy.

 

The daily Nairobi - Doha service has increased to 12 flights a week. From January 3, capacity will double with an additional two flights. The company has been successfully operating service to Nairobi, Kenya’s capital city for five years.

 

Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania’s capital, is currently served daily and will receive an additional four flights a week starting from January, and in February frequency should be increased to 12 weekly services.

 

Africa region makes up over 10 percent of Qatar Airways’ international network, and is one of the company’s largest markets by the number of destinations served.

 

The airline currently flies to 14 cities across Africa: Alexandria, Algiers, Cairo, Luxor, Casablanca, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Khartoum, Lagos, Nairobi, Dar Es Salaam, Seychelles, Tripoli and Tunis.
